Miss Independent
Man, I love that Kelly Clarkson song. Anyway...I'm not really sure how I feel about this yet. Eden is starting to be so independent! She no longer wants me to cuddle with her when I put her down for a nap. We normally lay down together and cuddle until she goes to sleep, but she has decided that she doesn't like me to treat her like such a baby anymore. She just wants me to leave her alone and give her a blanket so she can fall right to sleep. I'm going to miss snuggling her when she gets in those really cute but super tired moods. She even wants to hold her own bottles now. She wants nothing to do with me when she gets a bottle. She just wants to be alone with her bottle and toys. Lucky for me, she has to snuggle with me when I nurse her. What's next? I just know that she's going to be asking us for a cell phone soon!

I know! I can't believe she can hold her bottle. But she does look so cute holding it.
I raised 2 of my nephew and a niece. My 2nd nephew used to always come to my room or wherever I was sleeping around 5 in the morning and asked to cuddle. I'm pretty sure I cried the day he stopped coming to my room. Just love every moment you get the chance to cuddle!
AWW! Just like her mommy! Just wait until she can move around the house, then she will want nothing to do with you.....so sad they grow up so fast. We had fun last night!
Bummer! Whenever Lucy will actually cuddle with me for a few minutes makes me so happy! Just wait until those teeth start poking through, she'll just want to be held and carried everywhere, you'll get some cuddling then.... but also a lot of crying too!
Maybe you just need to have another one soon?? Oh yes, Eden wants a buddy!!
