The Boyster Band

My family always gets together on Memorial Day and has a BBQ. This year we all got toegther, BBQ'd and played Rock Band. The drums aren't my thing, but I'm pretty dang good at singing!

Our Special Weekend

On Saturday, our little family was sealed for time and all eternity in the Mesa, Arizona Temple. I have never felt the Spirit stronger than I did that day. I will never forget it. Eden was so beautiful and perfect. On Sunday, Craig blessed Eden in church. He gave her the sweetest blessing I have ever heard. I am so grateful for such an amazing husband who holds and honors the Priesthood. After the blessing, both of our families got together at the Shaver house and had a little luncheon. We are so lucky to have such cool and fun families. It was a lot of fun and a little crazy to get everyone together. Luckily Craig didn't work today so we are recovering from the busy weekend. Thanks to all of our friends and fmaily who came into town to share our special weekend with us. I still can't stop smiling.

Our forever family!

We have a problem...

Just recently, Eden has found her cute little hands. Her favorite thing to do with these cute hands is to shove them down her throat after I have fed her. I have to keep a bib on her so she doesn't go through 6 different outfits a day. I really hope she outgrows this!

These are a few of our favorite things!

Eden is now starting to be interested in toys and other fun things. I realized I had NO toys or anything to entertain her so I went on an Ebay shopping spree and found a few things that she can play with. She only stays entertained for about 15-20 minutes at a time but it's enough to let me get a few little things done here and there. She is getting more and more fun every day. When she was first born, I used to be sad that she was getting bigger and she was no longer a tiny little newborn. Now, I just love it. We play, sing, read and laugh together. Here are a few of her favorite things right now...

Fabulous Friday

We had such a fun and busy day yesterday! It all started with me waking Eden up so we could get ready for the day. She was so tired!
Photobucket

Then, we were off to Tairi's house to see Baby Boston...

And steal his swing...

Then, we went and watched Jaxson's tumbling class. He did such a good job and was the cutest little boy in the class!

While we were waiting for Max's Hip Hop class to start, we snapped a few pictures...

Finally it was time for Max's class where he showed us his sweet moves! That kid can dance.

After eating Taco Bell for lunch, we decided to go buy our own swing so we wouldn't have to keep stealing Boston's.

What fun would a day with the Stewart's be if we didn't have a baby photoshoot?!

After our busy day, we went to dinner with Tai, John, Heather and Ryan... and all the kids! Table for 12 please! After dinner we played Boxers or Briefs and just hung out. I wish I would have brought my camera... I need to get better about having it with me all of the time. By the end of the night, we were so pooped!! Now it's Saturday morning and we're all rested. Craig had to work today (LAME!) and I'm just waiting for the little princess to wake up this morning... it's 10am and she's still sleeping. That's my girl :)

Our Moms

"A mother's love for her child is like nothing else in the world. It knows no law, no pity, it dares all things and crushes down remorselessly all that stands in its path."

Craig and I are so blessed to have such awesome Mothers who love us very, very much. I am so grateful for the support and love they have shown us. Happy Mother's Day to my two wonderful Moms. We love you!

Last night, Brooke, Kevin and Annie came over for a little game of Phase 10...

But here was the best part of the night. I was telling Kevin about the Cinnamon Challenge and how it is impossible to swallow a tablespoon of Cinnamon. He didn't believe me and said that he could do it and wanted to try. So, Craig got him a spoonful of cinnamon. Here's how the story ends...

Take me out to the ball game!

This past week has been the most eventful week we have had in a while! We were able to go out three times in one week... yeah!! It's pretty pathetic the things that make me happy now a days... Eden pooping, taking a shower before noon, breathing fresh air, getting out of the house 2 days in a row, etc. I am so proud to say that today is the fourth day in a row that I've gotten up, showered and been out of the house before noon. That must be a record.

Our first big outing this week was being able to go out to dinner, just Craig and I. It was the first "date" we've been on since Eden was born. We had to celebrate Craig passing his big test so we went to Carrabba's, our favorite. We left Eden with my parents and I wanted to call on check on her at least 3 times, but I refrained. After all, my Mom did raise 7 kids. I think she knows what she is doing.

Yesterday, me and Eden met our friend Jessica for lunch at Macayo's. Can someone just say Baja Burrito?! Yum. Then we did a little shopping at AZ Mills. Then, we went and visited Eden's Great-Granny before picking up Craig from work. We love Granny, she's so sweet.

Finally, today we went and watched the Diamondbacks beat the NY Mets 10-4. Craig's work had a bunch of tickets so we took a couple and joined some of his co workers for the game. We had so much fun!! We took Eden and she LOVED it. The noise didn't even bother her and she loved seeing all the people, lights and the pretty green field. She did so awesome, I was so proud of her. I knew she would do good though, she loves seeing lots of people and she's likes constant stimulation. Everyone loved her, of course. She was the center of attention wherever we went. I love my little family and I love when we get to do fun things together!

Speaking of our little family, we are getting sealed together in the Mesa Temple on the 24th of this month! Then, Eden will be blessed on the 25th, so if anyone wants to come out for that, let me know and I'll give you directions... everyone is invited!

So, that's my weekly wrap up. I'm exhausted.

She loves the Bjorn! (Thanks, Leisa!)
