new house, new baby, new tooth

We are finally moved into our house. I am SO excited to be in a house again, you don't even understand. I wanted to have it all painted before we started moving stuff in, so a better part of last week was spent painting the walls in the Great Room and the kitchen. Thanks for helping, Tai! I was dreading the move but it wasn't bad at all, for me anyway. We pawned Eden off with her Nana Joyce and Craig and I spent Friday night packing all of our stuff up. We hauled our bed over to the new place on Friday night and slept here for the first time. Craig woke up early Saturday morning and met a bunch of guys from our ward and they helped him pack everything on to the truck and trailer. It only took about 30 minutes. Then, he came here and a bunch of guys from our new ward were waiting to help us unload everything, which only took 10 minutes! All I had to do was direct traffic! It was so nice! I am still unpacking slowly. I hope to get everything all done by the end of this week.

Today we had a verrry fun day! Tairi, Jaxson and Boston came over and hung out with us all day. The babies are getting to the age where they will sit and play with eachother. It is so cute to watch!Boston doesn't even mind when Eden mauls his face anymore... he even fights back! They are growing up way too fast.

Oh yeah.... I have a new cousin! YAY!! well... second cousin? Third cousin? I have no clue. My cousin, Stephanie, Just had a little baby girl yesterday morning. Her name is Kenadie Bell and she weighed exactly what Eden weighed - 7 pounds 6 ounces. Tairi warned me that as soon as I held the baby I would swear that Eden was never that small and guess what the first words out of my mouth were? I SWEAR Eden was never this small!!! Little Kenadie is so sweet and she makes my uterus hurt a little bit. As I was walking out of the door, Craig was sure to warn me about coming home telling him that I want another one - he wouldn't hear it! I just can't help wanting another tiny baby, they are too precious!

Eden seems like such a giant compared to tiny little Kenadie. I don't know when she got so big?! She is crawling everywhere, pulling herself up on the couches and she even has a TOOTH - finally! It's just barely breaking through, but it's a sharp little sucka.

Nana bought Eden a cute outfit, here she is modeling it.

This is how she gives kisses... it's my favorite, her kisses are the best!

Favorite Foods

Eden is just now starting to get into eating foods. Her favorite, by far, is bananas. She usually eats at least one banana (if not more) every day! She also likes avacados, ritz crackers, carrots (sometimes), cooked apples, and now green beans!! I usually give her only fresh foods, butI had a jar of green beans in the cupboard so I thought I would give it a try. It was a hit! She was totally lovin it! She loved them so much that she actually let me spoon feed her, which doesn't happen too often. She usually prefers to feed herself or eat out of her mesh feeder (best invention ever).

Yay for green beans!

My sexy firefighter!

Today Craig was demonstrating how he gets his turn out gear on in under a minute. He even had 8 seconds to spare! He is loving all the firefighting stuff he has been doing lately. I, on the other hand, am still trying to get used to him being gone so much! I don't see him at all on Thursdays since he leaves before I wake up and comes home after I'm in bed. Then, he has class all day on Friday. He is loving it though and I support him :)

I thought these pictures were super cute and definitely worth posting. Eden wasn't too sure what to think of him in all of his gear but once he took off his helmet, face mask and jacket she was fine.

Eden's stats

7 months old!

17(!) pounds - 80th percentile
26 inches - 48th percentile

She is growing like crazy. She gets up on her hands and knees and rocks for a little bit then goes back to her belly and starts with her army crawling. All of her cute outfits are getting SO dirty. Maybe I should clean the carpet! But why would I do that when....

WE ARE MOVING!

We found a cute little cozy house out in Queen Creek on Power and Queen Creek roads. We are SO excited to have a much bigger place and a grassy backyard for Eden to play in when it cools down a bit. We really hate moving, but this will be worth it!

I started working last week. It's going pretty good but also taking up a lot of my time since I am so new and just getting the hang of things. I do a lot of my work at night when Craig and Eden are sound asleep.

My brother and sister in law are going through a lot right now. Amber's baby sister, Jade, passed away yesterday. She was only 12 hours old. She was so beautiful. I am so sad for them and ask everyone to keep them and the Genys family in your prayers.

Camping in Show Low

We had so much fun camping this past weekend for Labor Day. We rarely get the oppurtunity to take vacations, so I had been looking forward to this for a while now! (since last year's camping trip!) We went with John and Tairi to John's family reunion. Even though we aren't family at all, they still welcome us and treat us like we are. It's so much fun and we can't wait to go again next year. I was really nervous about taking Eden but she did so awesome! We slept in a tent and it was really cold outside, but she didn't even mind. She slept all night right between Craig and I on our air mattress. I was so proud of her! It rained for the first 2 days we were up there, but the weather was perfect for the last 2 days. We ate yummy camping food, played on the quads, took naps and sat around the campfire until reallly late at night.

I think Eden got really used to all of the attention she got while we were up there because she is being extra clingy today. We pretty much had to hold her the entire time because there wasn't anywhere that I could just put her down and let her crawl besides her pack n play, but that gets boring to her after a few minutes. She was totally spoiled!

Her first day camping!
