5 weeks old

Here are a few pictures from the past couple of days. She is starting to smile and we are having way too much fun with it. She is the best baby. She has been sleeping through the night for about 2 and a half weeks now. It's so nice. We go to bed around 9:30 and I usually wake up before she does around 8 or 9! Anyway, I'm tired and really should go to bed, so here are the pictures...

Birthday Boy

Today is Sam's (Brooke's boyfriend) birthday. Since he is in Argentina on his mission, we had to send him this cute birthday message from Eden. He is coming home in May and we can't wait to see him! Brookie and Sam are getting married in August (finally!) so we already call him "uncle".

1. What were you doing 10 years ago?
a- Freshman in high school tearin it up on the volleyball court and the football field.
b- Makin' bank babysitting, being MVP for the basketball team.

2. 5-things on my to-do list today.
a- Feed baby, change diapers, kiss Eden, Feed Eden, Change more diapers.
b- Wake up, take shower, go to church, change poopy diapers, watch TV.

3. What snacks do I enjoy?
a- chips and sals, brownies w/ milk, fresh fruit.
b- Crackers w/ cream cheese, chips and salsa, mint chip, chips and ranch dip.

4. What would I do if I were suddenly a billionaire?
a- Retire, make lots of babies, let my spouse decide what to do with the money.
b- Share with good friends and family, shop, travel, invest, buy a few houses, give to charity.

5. 3 bad habits: (according to the other spouse)
a- Plucking hairs, leaving stuff on kitchen counters, leaving underwear in bathroom.
b- Taking clothes off and leaving them on the floor, not shaving, being late.

a- Loathes reading, used to deliver pizza, secretly loves soap operas and musicals, can't think of anything else :).
b- Falls asleep during any and all movies, can wiggle both ears, wears the pants in this family, picks up everything with toes, plays the piano.

While there is nothing better than being a Mom, being an aunt comes in a close second. My sister, Tairi, gave birth to her third little boy on Thursday. His name is Boston Ty Stewart and he weighed in at 7 pounds 14 ounces. He is so dang precious!

Eden's First Easter

Spring Break

This past week was an eventful one! All of my mom's brother and sisters came into town and we had a mini family reunion. It's been so long since we have all been together, probably 10 years! Eden got to meet her second cousins, her great aunt and uncles and the coolest one, her Great-Great-Grandma. We had 5 generations together! My Great Grandma, or "Fleming", as we like to call her, is the cutest, sweetest old lady ever! She is 87 years old and going strong! I am so glad we got a few good pictures of us together!

We also took Eden to get her first professional pictures done. We went with Leisa and her girls so the 3 Shaver girl grandkids could get their pictures taken in their cute matching Easter dresses. We won't get the prints back for about a week and a half though :(
